Ingredients
Scale
Rolls and Cheese
- 12 count Savory Butter Hawaiian Rolls
- 3 slices Colby Jack cheese
- Mayonnaise (for spreading and mixing)
Slider Filling
- 2 cups lettuce, chopped
- 6 slices turkey deli meat, chopped
- 6 slices ham deli meat, chopped
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Rolls: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally, separating the top halves from the bottoms. Lay 3 slices of Colby Jack cheese evenly across the top portions of the rolls, then spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on each of the bottom halves.
- Bake Rolls with Cheese: Place both the top and bottom roll halves on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the bread is nicely toasted, developing a golden crust.
- Mix Filling: While the rolls bake, combine the chopped lettuce, chopped turkey, chopped ham, and crumbled cooked bacon in a large mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise gradually while stirring, until the mixture achieves your preferred consistency. Season with black pepper to your taste.
- Assemble Sliders: Spread the prepared meat and lettuce mixture evenly over the toasted roll bottoms. Place the cheese-topped roll halves on top to form sliders. Serve immediately and enjoy these flavorful bites.
Notes
- Use cooked bacon for best flavor and texture in the filling.
- Adjust the amount of mayonnaise in the filling to achieve your preferred creaminess.
- Feel free to substitute Colby Jack cheese with cheddar or Swiss according to your preference.
- For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce or mustard to the filling mixture.
- These sliders are best served fresh but can be wrapped and refrigerated for up to 2 days.
