Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons Nutella
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee or 1 shot espresso
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice cubes
Optional Topping
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Brew Coffee or Espresso: If using espresso, pull a fresh shot. Otherwise, brew strong coffee and allow it to cool slightly before use to avoid melting the ice too quickly.
- Warm the Nutella: Place Nutella in a small bowl and microwave for 10–20 seconds or gently heat it on the stovetop to soften so it blends easily without clumping.
- Blend Main Ingredients: In a blender, combine milk, sugar, softened Nutella, cooled coffee or espresso, and vanilla extract. Pulse and blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add Ice and Blend: Add the ice cubes to the blender and blend on high speed for about 1 minute until the drink is creamy and the ice is fully incorporated, creating a smooth frappe texture.
- Serve: Pour the Nutella frappe into a tall glass. Top with whipped cream if desired, and serve immediately to enjoy the cold, frothy coffee treat at its best.
Notes
- Use strong brewed coffee or espresso for the best flavor intensity.
- Adjust the sugar quantity to taste depending on your preferred sweetness level.
- Heating Nutella helps it blend more easily, preventing clumps.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute whole milk with almond, soy, or oat milk.
- Serve immediately as the frappe is best enjoyed fresh and cold.
